Samuel James Bellamy
Samuel James Bellamy is an editor who currently resides in Los Angeles. He is an active member of IATSE Local 700, the Motion Picture Editors Guild, as an assistant editor. He also serves on the LGBTQIA+ Diversity Steering Committee in the Guild where he helps coordinate events such as Pride, Art of Cutting: Queer Voices in Series, and Gayme Night as well as moderate the Rainbow Connect Post Discord server.
In 2018, Samuel received the Augustus B. Turnbull III Professionalism Award, as voted on by his peers and faculty, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.
He gives himself wholeheartedly to emotional storytelling and audience connection. In all of his work, he strives to create content that viewers connect with in some way, shape, or form. He crafts his edits through emotion and story.
